The Information Services Perception Assessment (ISPA) measures perceptions of the information services function as seen through the eyes of its customers.
This web-based assessment survey profiles the information services function as seen by the user community. The IS function is assessed on 16 dimensions integral to a well operating information services function. The assessment is based on responses to 50 semantic differential statements, which are rated on a scale of strongly agree to strongly disagree. Examples of semantic differential statements include:
- You are satisfied with the system response time
- Your department frequently requests new applications
- The IS Director has a solid understanding of your functional area
- The IS Department is an integral part of the planning process
- Your data is readily accessible between departments
- There is good data consistency between computer generated reports
- Testing of your new application takes place without major incident
- Most senior managers are personally using the system
