The Organizational Readiness Assessment (ORA) analyzes the organization's environment and readiness to adopt and support an enterprise-wide project management methodology.
This web-based assessment survey profiles the organization regarding its readiness for an enterprise wide project management methodology. The organization is assessed on 20 dimensions, which are critical to the success of both projects and an effective project management methodology. The assessment is based on responses to 66 semantic differential statements, which are rated on a scale of strongly agree to strongly disagree. Examples of semantic differential statements include:
- I understand our project priority setting process
- Project status information is readily accessible across the company
- I understand our business priorities
- Senior management is actively involved in project portfolio decisions
- Internal politics do not affect the contents of the project portfolio
- Project managers communicate in a language I understand
The assessed dimensions fall into 4 major areas:
