PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICE SURVEY

As organizations begin to experience the growing importance of good project management practices as a critical success factor, they recognize the need for a more formal, enterprise wide process for initiating, approving, managing, and supporting the project portfolio and project managers. The establishment of a project support office (PSO) appears more and more to accompany this recognition. The purpose of this survey is to measure:

  • The extent to which PSOs are being established
  • The time and cost to develop a PSO
  • How PSOs are organized
  • What roles and responsibilities are assigned to PSOs
