Robert is Professor at the School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He supervises doctoral dissertations, provides guidance for the doctoral specialty program in IT management, and teaches IT management. He received Professor Emeritus status at the US Coast Guard Academy and Fairfield University for teaching excellence, research activity, and service to the institutions and the community.
Robert DeMichiell and Associates, a consulting and executive seminar firm, has been active for over two decades and focuses on technology leadership and management. He has presented numerous papers and published extensively over the past forty years at the national and international level. Recent articles were published in the Journal of Case Method Research and Application (teaching methodology for project management, engaging students creatively in the classroom, and using case studies in IT) and in the Journal of Information Technology Education (focusing on practical and academic approaches to the appropriate use of IT in different environments).
Robert has received many awards for his teaching and management of IT, including a lifetime achievement award by the World Association for Case Method Research and Application. He has extensive project management, consulting and training experience in the government and utilities sectors, the banking industry, and higher education institutions.

Jack is a founding principal of Oak Associates, Inc., a premier project management training company. He is the author of six books and numerous articles on computing and project management. His “classic,” Executive Computing, was published in 1980 by Addison-Wesley. His latest work, "Multiple Project Management: Responding to the Challenge," appeared in Project Management for Business Professionals, published in 2001 by John Wiley. His works have been translated into Swedish, Italian, French, and Japanese. He is the primary author of Oak’s new program, “Five Sigma® Project Management.”
During the course of his business career, Jack has built and sold a business, managed projects, managed project managers, and served as both an internal and an external management consultant to Fortune 100 companies. He has been featured in articles in The Wall Street Journal, and his comments have appeared in Science, Time, U.S. News and World Report, and the Project Management Journal. He is a past president of the Mass Bay Chapter of the Project Management Institute, a past chair of the Greater Boston Chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He also served on the editorial board of the PMNetwork for ten years.

Jim is the founder of The Lewis Institute, Inc., an association of professionals providing project management and behavioral consulting and training throughout the world. With 44 years of service to the project management industry, Harvey is founder of The Project Knowledge Group, a consulting firm specializing in the dissemination of project management knowledge through writing, training, mentoring and direct consulting. Harvey is the leading consultant to the project management software industry and is recognized as the leading expert in tools for project management. He has been Adjunct Professor of Project Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Boston University. He has conducted project management public seminars for ASCE, AMA, IBM, and PMI.
Harvey is the author of three books, and over 200 articles, whitepapers and videos on Project Management. His 2002 book, Practical Project Management: Tips, Tactics and Tools, is still available from John Wiley & Sons. Harvey's new book, Project Portfolio Management: A Practical Guide to Selecting Projects, Managing Portfolios, and Maximizing Benefits, Jossey-Bass, was released in July, 2005. Jon has over 15 years experience as a project manager, author, trainer, programmer and software architect. In addition to writing twelve courses, Jon has taught courses on Rational, Microsoft, IBM, and Sybase products. He has designed and implemented Estimation with Use Cases methodology estimation software. He has taught thousands of developers, project managers, quality assurance specialists and business analysts how to dramatically reduce the cost of project development and how to improve the effective delivery of software projects. Jon created and teaches a series of courses on Object Oriented Project Management (OOPM) that simplifies and enhances the process of software project management.
Jon is one of the pioneers of Estimation with Use Cases based on Use Case Points, having developed the concepts in 1998 in order to solve the need for estimation early in the development process.
Jon is currently working on a new methodology “Roles Based Management and Development” which is being created to advance the art of software engineering.

Steve Denker has over 30 years design engineering and product management experience. He is a member of the Project Management Institute and Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
The author of over 30 technical and business articles, he holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from MIT. He is the managing partner of the Business Process Architects, formed to help companies build core business processes more simply and at lower cost.
The Business Process Architects specializes in consulting services that help clients architect new operating processes and workflows. Their toolset enables clients to articulate, reorganize or redesign; and then verify that these new processes better support business requirements.
In particular, they pioneered adaptation of a business process design method known as Dependency Structure Matrices to overhaul complex business practices.
It has been particularly effective in reducing cycle times and development costs.

Beth has 8 years of work experience as a systems developer and systems engineer. Four of those involved large system object-oriented (OO) C++ applications development including object modeling, analysis, design, and implementation. The other four years involved managing and developing large internet based applications using C++, ISAPI, IIS, HTML, SQL, ODBC, VB, and ASP. She now focuses on dynamic Web applications using the latest technology. With her excellent interpersonal and customer interaction skills, Beth has an unusual and effective blend of technical and business talents.
